Rentals in Shadow of Letum
There are two types of rentals available in Shadow of Letum, one is for role-play residences, the others are for OOC shops in the landing zone. Both work the same in that you pay a certain amount and receive a prim allotment.
Letum has places for rental in each of the main areas. These do not include the rooms in the inn, as those are only rentable via role-play, with no OOC cost or prim allotment (this includes the small open tents in sim as well). All residential rentals come with the option of having the door locked to the renter and whoever they choose to have on the access list.
Some residences are already decorated, players can choose to keep those furnishings or ask the admins to remove them so they can place their own. Either option costs the same and the prim allotment will be the same (and will include items placed by admin in that total).
The cost of residential rentals is $100L per week for an allotment of 50 prims. All decorations should be theme appropriate and should remain within the residence or just outside of it. Players who go over their prim allotment will be given a warning and 24 hours to reduce. After that, admin will return items until the count is 50 or below.
Besides theme appropriateness there are only a few other rules:
A player may not rent a residence in a faction area that their character is not a part of. (IE: You cannot be a denizen of the Shadows and rent in the Harbourage unless you can demonstrate IC justification for this)
Any items placed must not cause lag or performance issues for the sim. If any objects are found to be doing this, the player will be contacted to remove them or they will be returned by an admin. Do not place items that rezz particles or sounds that reach beyond your rental. Please be courteous to other players when decorating your residence.
Temporary rezzing of prims is allowed, but they should not be left for a period longer than the scene you are roleplaying (specifically, if you leave the sim, your prims should go with you) and should be theme appropriate. Prims are checked regularly, and any prims that do not belong to renters, or that did not have permission to be placed long term, will be returned to their owners without warning. (See main Rules notecard for additional information regarding RP prims.)
For items that need to be left out long term, please contact an admin for permission to do so (or to have an admin put out the item themselves).
For questions, information about rental locations or if you are interested in renting one of of the residences please contact Siobhan Bauhaus.
Vendor Rentals:
There are a limited number of stalls available for vendors. Each stall can be fully rented or half rented. Half rented stalls grant half the allotted prims of the whole stall. Each stall allows for 50 prims. To rent a whole or half, contact Niccia Straaf to set up rental boxes. Half stalls are 50L weekly for 25 prims; full stalls are 100L weekly and allow for 50 prims. Each half is left and right, not front and back. If renting half a stall, prims need to stay on rented sides. Whole stall rentals must stay within the stall. All rentals must stay within the stall with the exception of a sign outside. Hovertext is allowed. Please do not place items that spam text or invitations to join groups or to give notecards. Notecard givers are allowed.
To rent vendor space in the landing zone, please contact Niccia Straaf.
