Shadows of Letum
The history of the Shadows of Letum, as a sim, is rather brief but bright. About 5 years ago, Vince, Linyah, Niccia, and later on, Siobhan worked toward building a place by role players, for role players. The place was open a little over a month and had a steady dozen or more on sim almost 'round the clock. The sim owner, a mutual friend, was thrilled with the build as it was coming along, then suddenly stopped showing up and one day we get word from multiple people the sim is not allowing anyone in but it's not down. Odd. We contacted linden labs and lo, non-payment closure. In a desperate grab for the build, we requested a 24hour reopening and warned everyone what was happening, trying to find somewhere on short notice we could move the sim to and reopen. 36 hours later, many rez-boxes and loose prims gathered the sim was saved almost intact. All we could do was wait until the time that we could get our own sim. One small parcel at a time we began to rebuild our dream until one day ona whim Niccia's player was hunting sims (as she was wont to do now and again) and the name Pandemonium pops up. A sign for she and Sio's player had just been laughing about how crazy things had been lately. New resources, juggling of funding, and there it was. . . a sim. The groundwork for Letum's return from the ashes.
So, come explore now the recreation, the rebuild into a newer era the Shadows of Letum (v2).
